Informations about hope 2011 in Germany

“Hope” is an initiative that encourages us as Christian teenagers and young adults to serve the people surrounding us and to proclaim Jesus’ love. As Jesus served people with words and deeds, he also authorizes us to do the same. “Hope” has its source in our longing to follow Jesus Christ completely by emphasising the meaning of deed and by helping each other with the realization of charitable projects.

That is why 2011 is going to be a year of action where youth groups from all over Germany will get active in charitable projects to practice and actually live succession in every part of their lives.

For us the initiative is the possibility to realize the words of Jesus in Matt. 5,16:

"In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Explanation of the logo:
The green on the black background expresses hope. The globe stands for “light”. Jesus mentions this light in connection with good deeds in Matt. 5,16. The emphasis on the “NUN” (German pun) shows the determination to go for it now.
